There are a lot of stories out there about kids who have grown up to look just like their celebrity parents.
From Michael J Fox’s twin daughters to Julia Roberts’s lookalike teen daughter and even Elvis Presley‘s grandson; there are a lot of celebrity offspring making us do a double take when we look at them.
But, in the case of Christopher Reeve’s 25-year-old son Will he’s not only the spitting image of his father but is working hard to continue his father’s inspirational legacy.
What does a hero look like?
For millions of people growing up in the late 70s and early 80s, a hero looked like Christopher Reeve.
His portrayal of DC comic book hero Superman, which hit our screens in 1978, earned him a BAFTA award for Most Promising Male Newcomer.
The charismatic and handsome actor went on to star in three more superhero movies: Superman II, Superman III, and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.
His name is synonymous with a famous superhero that we’ll never forget.
But Christopher Reeve wasn’t just an actor but a film director, producer, screenwriter, equestrian, and activist.
His millions of fans were left stunned after he was thrown from a horse and became confined to a wheelchair in 1995.
He was only 42 years old when he became a quadriplegic.
Reeve was in a wheelchair and required a portable ventilator for the rest of his life.
He could have given up, but instead, he focused on activism setting up the Christopher Reeve Foundation with his devoted wife Dana.
It was later renamed the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.
The couple also co-founded the Reeve-Irvine Research Center, lobbying on behalf of spinal cord injury victims and for stem cell research.
The actor died in 2004, at age 52.
Just 17 months after his death his wife and caregiver Dana also passed after suffering a malignant lung tumor, despite never smoking.
The Superman star had two children Alexandra and Matthew with his former partner, Gae Exton, and then a son Will with actress Dana Morosini.
At just 13 years old their son Will was left an orphan.
Today, Will has grown up to look just like his father – but until now has kept largely out of the spotlight.
Over a decade later, Will is now 27 years old, and has clearly inherited his father’s good looks; the resemblance is uncanny.
But that isn’t the most remarkable thing about this young man but the fact that he is continuing the good work his parents started.
Will could have gone downhill or off the rails after suffering such trauma at such a young age but thanks to his parent’s strong guidance and his own strength of character he did not allow himself to descend into darkness.
“There’s something my father used to say and which I use frequently today to not only honor his legacy but to imbue a new generation with his timeless spirit: ‘A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles,’” he said in a Daily Mail article.
Will and his dad also shared a love of sports and today is a contributor to ESPN’s SportsCenter, a job he promised his parents he would achieve.
He got the job after interning at ‘Good Morning America’ and working there as a production assistant while attending Middlebury College.
He continues the work his parents started, looking to find new therapies and helping to lead the fundraising for more breakthroughs in technology for spinal injury patients through the foundation.
I know his parents would have been so proud of what this young man has already achieved. He is such an inspiration.

I’ve posted a few different versions of kids singing the National Anthem, but this one is definitely one of the top versions I’ve heard.
10-year-old Jadon Perez has become something of a social media star on TikTok because of his incredible singing voice. In this video, taken at a golf tournament fundraiser, he sings “The Star Spangled Banner,” as well as any professional.
The announcer tells a great story that is indicative of Jadon’s voice: “I have to tell you, some of the guys who know me a little bit…we work on the TV show, “The Voice” on NBC, and, I want him to come try out for The Voice, that’s how good this little boy is.”

Marcel LeBrun, a millionaire based in eastern Canada, has gone viral for his heroic effort of building 99 “tiny homes” to help the fight against homelessness.
It’s believed the multi-millionaire sold his company for an eight figure sum, and decided to put $4 million of that money to good use.
The town of Fredericton in New Brunswick has at least 1,800 people who found themselves homeless for at least one day in 2022 according to the CBC.
LeBrun has invested big bucks in developing what he calls the ’12 Neighbours’ gated community, which will ultimately consist of 99 tiny homes for people looking to get back on their feet.

They come with space for a kitchen, a small bed space and a bathroom, along with some decking out front and some solar panels on the roof.
But in the fight against homelessness, the most important thing is putting a roof over someones head and ensuring their safe and warm.

After about 70 of the 99 tiny homes were built, the 12 Neighbours community secured an extra $12 million in government grants to help get them over the line. Speaking to CBC, LeBrun explained why he was doing this:

Grace LePayne will turn 107 on December 8, 2022. She proudly wore adorable necklaces and gold hoops earrings to excitedly share her lovely day with the world.
Not always was everything so sunny and brilliant. The Great Depression and the passing of her seven-year-old son were two difficult experiences for LePayne. Shortly later, her husband passed away. LePayne loves spending time with her family, and they love her back.
The old woman laughed and replied, “What do I like to do?” when asked about her favorite pastimes. “At this time, I want to do nothing. On the other hand, her family disagrees, pointing out that she is quite busy.
LePayne enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, going shopping, and assisting her relatives in the kitchen. At her birthday celebration, family members from North Carolina, Missouri, Tennessee, Illinois, and New York gathered to share lovely memories.
LePayne, who is obviously delighted with her life and couldn’t wait to rejoice with her family, said, “I’m happy to have all my family here.” After meeting LePayne, many people always had the same question in mind: how had she managed to live such a long and fulfilling life? Even though LePayne hasn’t found the Fountain of Youth, her sense of humor will keep her looking young.
How on earth did she manage to live that long? She retorted, “Just be happy.” It is the most crucial. If the LePayne “secret” is any guide, we ought to be more appreciative, kind, and joyful!
The girl born to a mom at the age of 60 experienced what follows: most current photos of them.

Susan Sarandon is perhaps one of the most iconic actresses of her generation. Apart from holding her own on screen, the actress is known for never holding back in real life either.
So when people started questioning her decisions, she decided to school them.
Susan Sarandon has had an impressive career in Hollywood and is still going strong. Her role as Janet Weiss in the 1975 cult classic musical film The Rocky Horror Picture Show cemented her worth as a talented actress. After that, she went on to star in numerous movies, which earned her critical acclaim, including the much-loved Thelma & Louise. She received a nomination for Best Actress at the Academy Awards for her portrayal in the film. The actress ultimately earned an Academy Award for her role in Dead Man Walking.
The actress has always been a proponent of body positivity and always likes to express herself with her fashion choices. She has quite an unapologetic personality and is vocal about the causes she supports.
It was during a red carpet event that the actress was wearing a white jacket with a black bra which raised some eyebrows. A journalist went as far as to say her outfit was “totally inappropriate.”
But instead of trying to defend herself with words, the actress decided to use a picture. She posted an old picture of herself in her underwear, proudly displaying her figure. After all, a picture is worth a thousand words, and Sarandon shut up anyone who was questioning what was ‘appropriate’ for her and what wasn’t.
The actress is not bothered about aging and focuses on what feels important to her. She said in an interview, “When your sense of time has an ending and isn’t finite, like how it feels when you’re young.” She added, “When you have an understanding that time is precious—you have a tendency not to waste energy on the small stuff and only to surround yourself with people who are vital, curious, brave, and adventurous.”
As for what she does to maintain her beauty, she simply said, “If you want to age gracefully, probably laugh a lot, and get the normal amount of exercise, and eat well and stay out of the sun would be the main things,” Sarandon stated. But the actress added, as is having an amazing makeup and hair team to help you keep looking good.
