In this clip, a young girl sings ‘You Are My Sunshine’ to her cat, who was tragically passing away just before Christmas.
The little girl, whose name is Abby, may only be four years old, but she has already had so many happy memories with her gorgeous cat, Bailey, who was with Abby’s family for a decade before she was even born. As a result, the two shared a very special bond.
The pair were inseparable for years, with Abby often reading and singing to Bailey.
In the heartbreaking clip, it seemed like Bailey could truly understand what Abby was singing, which marked the last time she would be serenading her best friend. Bailey’s kidney failed and she passed away with a few hours after the moment was filmed.
Once the clip was posted online, thousands of people across the globe shared, liked, and commented their praise for Abby, as well as shared words of kindness.
According to News.com.au, thousands of people send gifts and cards to Abby after seeing the video, in the hopes that this would cheer her up.
Abby’s mother took the opportunity to thank everyone who send cards and heartfelt messages during their time of grieving, saying that the support the family received from total strangers made her a little more optimistic about the world, especially considering how much negativity is spread online.
This is absolutely devastating to watch, but it’s also heartwarming to see that Bailey had her final moments in such a loving home.
I’m sure you’ve watched a viral video that is presented as a real situation and thought, “This is a set up”. This happened to me with today’s video of a chance encounter in a Walmart in Alpharetta, Georgia. In the video, Cassandra Turner Nelson is standing with her trolley at the canned vegetable section when a stranger, Donnell Cross, approaches and asks her if she knows the song If This World Were Mine. Nelson says she does, and Cross starts singing. 50 seconds into the video, Nelson joins in.

Both have great voices and know the song. A crowd gathers, spectators record the spectacle. My first question was, how can someone expect a stranger in a supermarket to know this Ashford and Simpson song (first performed by the late, great singing partners Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell) well enough to sing it? My second question was, how can you expect a stranger to sing so well? Then there is Cross saying “Again?” at the beginning. Never fear. Take my word for it. The video is real. Let’s look:
Fantastic, but real? C’mon!. Surely not? This is how it went down. Cassandra Nelson was shopping with headphones on. She says she was quietly humming along to If This World Were Mine. Donnell Cross and his friend Craig were grabbing some lunch. Cross was a little tipsy. Cross and Craig heard Nelson singing. She had a good voice. On an impulse, Cross asked Craig to video him. He approached Nelson, who removed her headphones. Meanwhile, Craig was battling with the camera app.
Craig asked Cross to repeat the question. Cross said “Again?” just as Craig remembered to turn his phone horizontal. As we see Cross is a great singer who knows the song. Meanwhile 50-year-old Nelson is the daughter of gospel music singer and preacher, Norris Turner. She had been a backing singer for a few gospel acts and once sang at a convention in Sweden. Here’s Nelson and Cross being interviewed on GMA3, after the video went viral. Note that they get invited to appear with rapper Common.

The video file was too large for an attachment, so Craig uploaded it to YouTube and sent Nelson the link. All three shared the video with friends and family, then nothing. For over a year, nothing. Nelson, a mother of three, did not communicate with the two friends after thanking them for the video. Besides, both Nelson and Cross were in the process of moving to different cities when they sang together in the Walmart supermarket in March 2018. Then Common saw the video, shared it, and suddenly Nelson and Cross were on national television and guesting at a Common concert at the Apollo in NYC.Donnell Cross has since established himself as an in-demand singer. He was invited to do shows singing with Teddy Pendergrass’s band. In March 2022, he was fronting three bands. Also, Luther Vandross’s nephew once thanked him for bringing his uncle back (Vandross covered If This World Were Mine).

We could go on indefinitely. The point is that Keanu Reeves is a very nice person, so his return to social media following a conversation with a nine-year-old fan shouldn’t be surprising.
Rumor has it that the small child yelled “I’m such a big fan!” upon approaching Reeves at a book signing.
The boy’s name is asked by Reeves in the footage that IGN has made available. When the nine-year-old says “Noah” (as if there were any need), Keanu identifies himself.

This is how the dad remembers his daughter. He intended to snap a sweet photo of his kid but ended up with so much more.

Little did she know that by stopping to pose in front of a group of horses on the street, she would soon be recognized around the world.
Time reports that a Reddit user first shared the image online.
There isn’t much background on the photo’s creation, although it’s easy to speculate.
The day was probably delightful for this little girl and her loved ones. At a parade, they came across some massive Clydesdale horses.
She probably worked up the nerve to pet the horses, and her dad or an aunt or uncle probably urged her to turn around so they could snap a picture of her doing so.
The photographer told the little girl to stand in front of the magnificent horses and to “say cheese.”

A pet is more than an animal that you take care of. It’s so much more than that. Many people end up loving their pets as much as they love their children. Not only do they take care of them, but they bond with them. They spend time together and go places together.
While it’s easy to think that people take care of pets, and this is true, sometimes pets also take care of their people. Sure, there are instances when a pet will miraculously save someone from an accident, but there are other times when pets save their owners simply by being there. A pet to hug, to talk to and to take for a walk can do a world of good for one’s mental health.
Back in 1998, actor Michael J. Fox announced that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. The disease has made his life much more difficult, but during many of the past years, he has had a pet dog to help him through.
Fox’s dog Gus is a Great Dane–Labrador mix, but to Fox, he’s a “wonder dog.” In his memoir, “No Time Like the Future: An Optimist Considers Mortality,” which was released in 2020, Fox wrote about his bond with Gus and the importance of his loyal dog in his life. He wrote, “I didn’t rescue Gus. You can argue that he rescued me, but he’d be too modest to make that claim.”
You might be wondering how a dog can rescue a person, but if you have a dog perhaps you immediately understand what Fox means. He clarified in an interview for the CBS special,
“The Pet Project.” Fox said, “You know that no matter your situation, no matter what you feel, this animal is with you and is connected to you.” He added, “Your instinct when you have a chronic illness is to sometimes isolate and make your world as small as possible so you don’t have much to deal with, but a dog will open you up.”
Unfortunately, dogs don’t live forever, even the great ones. Gus passed away in 2021, and Fox announced his death on Instagram by posting a picture of Gus and writing, “Gus — great dog and loyal friend, we’ll miss you.”

They had a 3,000 sq foot house full of “things” but it couldn’t compare to the home they have now.
The couple decided one day to live in a simple yet comfortable tiny home. The couple has two kids, who now have their own family as well.
If they would want to visit them, the son lives half a mile away while the daughter lives in Kentucky a 10-hour drive using the couple’s RV.
The tiny house is preowned and was built by Liberation Tiny Homes. It is situated at the Tiny Estate Village in Elizabethtown Pennsylvania.
The house is overlooking a pond where the couple can relax and watch the wonderful view.
It was originally a rental unit and has been on Airbnb for about two years before they purchased it.
With only 28 feet by 8 and 1/2 feet area, Bonny and Ty could not be more satisfied with their decision.
The overall look of the interior is that of a farm, it helped their selection as they love the farm-look vibe.
The Living area has two chairs for both to enjoy their free time inside.
Just beside the living space is their side table for dining. It is attached to the wall to save space, with a bench that can be tucked under the side table.
So, he put his skills to use building certain things in the home, including the bench.
Across the side table is their small bar and office combo. Drinks at the top, and a printer at the bottom.
This put them on the same page when it came to aesthetics and they got the idea to place shoe bins in the tiny house to serve as storage for their shoes.
Next up is the kitchen area on one side and the Storage area on the other. The storage area serves as their dresser and other stuff to fill them in.
The kitchen also has lots of storage space. Convenient for all their needs tucked up neatly. They have a gas burner and a compact air fryer if they need one.
The bathroom is situated at the end, with a sliding door which saves space. It has a toilet, a shower, and a small sink.
Last but not least is their sleeping loft, which is just above the kitchen and bathroom.
It’s a decent, queen-size bed with lights that can be remotely turned on and off for convenience. There are windows on both sides for a cross-flow.
They eventually got used to its size. As a 6-footer, Ty had a hard time adjusting to a low-ceiling loft.
But now, they’re enjoying the peace and tranquility of their tiny house.
All in all, the Tiny Estates give them the opportunity to live in a small space but still be comfortable with how they are living in it.
